A Greek man residing in Scotland has been hailed as a medical miracle after being the first person on record to survive 40 years.

George Kalligas, now 40 of Linlithgow has defied the prognosis of dozens of medical professionals by outlasting his life expectancy tenfold, he suffers from a rare condition where from adolescence, an individuals head begins to develop and grow upside down. The usually prognosis comes at around 14 and gives roughly a two and a half year life expectancy, however George has now flourished for 25 years after his diagnosis at 15, even fathering a child, affectionately known as baby Zeus.

When we spoke to Mr Kalligas he was very humble and grateful for his life, and spoke strongly about the benefits of home made shampoo in prolonging and enriching his life. He stated "Malaka Malaka, I have an upside down head and sometimes think I am Turkish"
