Owners of an upscale home in the serene Christianson Dr. area of Littleton, Colorado have applied for a license to operate an after hours "Cat House" in a "guest cottage" to be constructed on their spacious estate.

The couple's press representative, said it is a bit early in the process to disclose full details, but the proponents see this entrepreneurial venture as a means to supplement their income to help pay for the extraordinary tax load imposed by Colorado's recent swing to a Blue State. While the facility is anticipated to be all-inclusive, many details of the operation were not disclosed in the application such as: how many clients would be serviced at one time, average length of stay, whether meals, beverages or entertainment would be included in the packages offered. Officials have submitted the matter to legal council for review prior to scheduling the matter for a public hearing.

Neighbors seem mixed on whether to fight or support the move as some see it as an amenity that could potentially enhance property values. Similarly with the state's recent financial boom from legal recreational marijuana this could perhaps be the leading edge move toward legalizing another highly profitable and long desired commodity . Some residents seem ok with the convenience of having such a facility "next door" where one could simply walk down the block, eliminating having to leave the neighborhood if the need arose. Others are deeply skeptical as to the demonstrated demand in an upscale neighborhood where most of the homes have domestic staff available to handle such needs.
