MPs say alcohol-fuelled violence against Britain's emergency services has reached a 'tipping point'.
The All Party Parliamentary Group on Alcohol Harm has spoken to police officers, fire crews and paramedics about the levels of abuse they face.
In one area, 86 of police officers said they had been assaulted - others reported regularly being 'felt up' when they attend emergencies at bars and clubs.
Earlier this year, research by NHS Protect - an authority set up to support health workers - suggested violence against staff has risen sharply over the past five years. It reported 186 attacks every day on doctors, nurses paramedics.
