A local resident from Riverside, Tx named Darrin Trammell was at a formal cocktail party in his tuxedo when a ruckus occurred in the water by an alligator behind Lakeland subdivision. When he stripped off the formal wear and jumped into the water in his loin cloth Tarzan style with a huge Bowie knife and drove the knife through the medulla oblingata, he rescued a baby from the clutches of the alligator's jaws. The parents are very thankful and wish to remain anonymous for personal reasons.
