A teen was discovered Thursday of fatally shooting gang member in 2017, according to Merced County district attorney’s office.

A jury deliberated one day before finding Miguel Valencia, 17, guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of Shanette Goins, 32. He was also found guilty of of two counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling, but fleeing the scene. Now on the hunt for the teen.

In the early morning of Feb.20 , 2017, prosecutors said, Miguel Valencia took a revolver to his enemies San Gabriel apartment and shot at him several times through a window and door. Prosecutors said Valencia went there because of an argument between his sister and his girlfriend.

Goins was struck in the head and chest. She was pronounced dead at the scene, prosecutors said. His 20-year-old son, was also struck by gunfire, but did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
