As the Charleston Fire Dept. eagerly awaits the arrival of a new ladder truck many employees continue to ask the question.... " will it fit"? The garage door at fire station 6 that will house the new ladder truck is only 12' and the ladder is estimated to come in near 12'. We have been unable to reach the fire chief for comment.
