California parole panel recommends realease of former Manson folllower. Bruce Davis, 74, had his 31st parole hearing at the California Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo, where he is serving a life sentence for the 1969 slayings of musician Gary Hinman and stuntman Donald “Shorty” Shea. When released on March 15,2017 he is court ordered to live with family member whose name will not be revealed due to safety concerns,in Ashford,WV. Residents that know of his release are very concerned of their safety and are very scared. In an interview Davis said he is very excited to meet his new community of Ashford,wv and hopes to find a wife.
