A local family returned home on Sunday night from the church pot-luck to find a scene of bloody, ghastly horror. Unbeknownst to them, the pet parrot had been learning more than a few funny curse words, and was secretly learning how to use the Amazon Echo device. And while the family was gone, the bird called the pet shop and ordered a pit bull delivered to the house.
Art Vandelay - owner of the pet shop - had no idea the plans that the parrot had for the pit bull. All he remembers was hearing shrieking and snarling after he opened the front door, let the pit bull in and then closed the door behind him to leave.
