Disney is at it again. Without hestitation they have begun casting for yet another animated favorite turned live action. Moana may have just hit stores but it's ready to hit the big screen again. Moana tells of a tale of a young teenager who must venture be on her Island to find a demigod to save her people .
One newly added cast member is native to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jailyn Sarah Montgomery aged 8, is set to play a young Moana. Her powerful presence at such a young age embodies the spirit of Moana. Her YouTube video (https://youtu.be/DsrXRaVp4MU) caught the casting director's attention. "Jailyn's voice and performance is filled with passion and emotion. Not to mention she is a true natural beauty. " - Casting director's hope to have the rest of the casting finished by July 2017. Open calls will be announced April 2017. Filming for this moving to begin in late December 2017. No release date is yet available.
