In the age of social media we find in our daily lives more outlets for fake news than ever before. There is an app for everything now a days and more and more people are apt to believe anything they see. Sadly, any idiot can make a fake news article, as the author of this article is doing now. If I choose a juicy enough thumbnail to attach as 'click bate', I am sure that this article, like so many others will be shared and liked, and loved, and wowed, maybe even angered. I was lead to this by reading an article that Cannibas had been legalized in my state. A move that would ensure the future of my States collapsing economy. The article was followed up by a link that gave me the option to 'create my own joke', to 'prank my friends'. I found no humor in a fake news article that could have potentally hurt some poor soul who decided to celebrate legalization of the sacred herb on, say, their local court house steps. With so much going on in our society today we should all be sure to reserch everything! Use multiple serch engines and if possible those old dusty relics called 'books'. We are not sheep. We are people. Regardless of color, faith, disability, height, weight, sexual preferences or nationallity. Everybody is different. Some want to seek the truth, others are eager to believe what ever they are told, especially if a famous person tells them. There is a point, that if nothing is done, our world will become the Idiocracy fortold by Mike Judge in his 2006 prophecy. . .
