Bricklayer lee Sullivan was caught behind the wheel when nearly three times over the drink-drive limit.
The 28-year-old was stopped on Dynevor road , skewen after police saw him perform a U-turn and nearly hit another car.
He gave a positive roadside breath test and at the police station was breathalysed and gave a reading of 96 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – nearly three times the legal limit of 35.
