After a year of delays and production headaches, it sounds like Star Trek Discovery may finally be on the right footing. Les Moonves announced today in New York at an Affiliate gathering that he finally scored the two biggest names in a Trek Fandom to run the new Series. "This is a great day for the family jewels!", Monves exclaimed at the luncheon.
"After years of telling us what we are doing wrong with the franchise, now they get to tell us what they would do right." CBS VP John Van Citters is quoted saying. The series will be retooled and use one of Leslie's own works to return the storied franchise to the small screen. Johnathan Frakes and Patrick Stewart are in talks of reprising their roles from The Next Generation.
