College Sports hires nearly 200 students each year to fill positions as referees and umpires. Officials are needed for almost all college team sports including football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, and softball. Training sessions are held in the weeks prior to the beginning of each respective season. What people didn't know, is that 99 percent are trained at UNC, shocked you say. This opens your eyes somewhat now, and you thought all them teams where just running at the mouth about UNC getting a lot of shave calls. When sports first started out, it was for the kids, now it is nothing but a money money scheme. Teams and events will do whatever lines, their bank account. Look at what the NCAA just did, blackmailing the Sate of NC. So the next time you hear of UNC getting fake foul calls, just remember they where trained at UNC, so we have to agree that they are.
