Minister for Transport Shane Ross was left red faced and walking home today after Dublin Bus revenue protection staff found him to be travelling on the 44 bus this evening using a counterfeit social welfare travel pass.
An eye witness claims that the Minister became abusive when confronted by the ticket inspectors, and reportedly told them he would be waiting outside Donnybrook Garage to "slice them to bits" after their shift.
Both the Minister and Dublin Bus declined to comment
