Locals and activists have expressed outrage after planning permission was granted to Building materials company Kilsaran International to carry out blasting of rock for aggregate production to supplement the manufacture of paving and blocks as well as raw material At Giants Causeway Co. Antrim. The company is set to move in on the Declared world heritage site in the beginning of May 2017. How the planning permission was granted for the destruction of this natural wonder is unknown.
