A Poplarvile Woman is possibly facing jail time. Due to an altercation at the Picayune Walmart on April 20,2017. 65 yr old Mary Joe Marsh of Poplarville,MS started an altercation with a Walmart employee after Mary was denied a return at the customer service desk. Mary was trying to return some Chocolate Easter bunnies and a pool noodle both purchased in 2015. The Walmart employee was struck several times in the head and was treated at the local hospital. There injuries are unknown at this time. Cops arrested Mary Joe Marsh for resisting arrest after she fled on foot to the Dollar Tree. She was also booked with a disorderly conduct charge. Mary was also banned from any walmart in the state of Mississippi until January 2018.
