Alameda county authorities are conducting a massive manhunt for the married couple Mekeisa Smith 34 and Craig Smith II 35 of West Oakland CA. Oakland Police Detective Yu Biche gave the following statement during a press interview held 04/20/2017 in front of the Wiley J. Manuel Courthouse Thursday morning. " We are searching for the couple we nicknamed "BYRDIE & CRANK". The couple is wanted throughout the state of California and are suspected of multiple Pharmacy robberies and bank Robberies, one which led into a high speed pursuit throughout the county of Alameda, up to Solano county, in which officials lost visual on the pair exiting a freeway exit leading to the Outlet Mall Shopping Center. Authorities believe the couple went into the Polo Ralph Lauren outlet, and changed thier images, also going into the neighbouring Chase bank, where the 2 held the facility at gun point, escaping with over $300,000 dollars in cash. We believe the couple will continue their ON THE RUN TOUR across the Country. If you see the couple, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPREHEND, ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
