NASCAR FANS UK group owner Kevin Gravenall said that he was going to retire at the end of the 2017 season.
"The years of running this group has taken it's toll of me, but I'm not giving up my love of motorsports completely, I'll be setting up a group championing the planned Autonomous Electric Car Racing series, which is set to break new ground when the driverless cars will race at circuits with no spectators."
There were rumours that Gravenall, from Kent, UK, was set to commentate on the UK round of the exciting World Submarine Racing series.
