To some it may seem like a small ordeal, however, Bill Rainman, a local economist who graduated from University of Wisconsin Parkside sees the changes at Honda of Kenosha to be resting on the edge of disaster for the local economy. In a recent publicity stunt, Marquavis Maddox, a former salesman at the store accepted his promotion as 'Sales Floor Manager'.

"To an average kenosian, this change may seem small and irrelevant..." Rainman began in an interview with WISN5. "However with my education and extensive studies in auto retailers in specific, it seems that this change could mean disaster for the local dealership. I've observed Marquavis personally, and while he may be good at what he does, it doesn't mean he's good at what he do."

We interviewed some former Honda of Kenosha customers and we got mixed emotions from a few different people.

"We as a family feel like we need someone of Marquavis's stature to be leading the floor at Honda. There's just no other way to put it. He's the one."

"When i bought my car from Honda car from Marquavis, I felt very at home and comfortable. However, a ways into the process, i was exposed to vocabulary which is beyond my understanding. Phrases such as 'Don't worry, we're gonna sticker you in the end' and references to me as a 'Patel' made me feel alienated as i do not understand what they meant. Overall i was not upset because they gave me $78.56 off the vehicle price of my BRAND NEW accord. All in all i was happy and am glad they managed to keep my payment just under my $900/month limit."

The future looks bright for the store, however, it makes you wonder... who really is Honda of Kenosha?
