Early Saturday morning, a Rochester, MN man, Kent Johnson, beat the attempted feat of golf great Tiger Woods. Mr. Johnson hit a golf ball using a 1 driving club from the "landing deck" of a famous Dubai hotel to the water. This feat had been attempted by many famous athletes from around the world, but has never been successful, until now. Johnson indicated that as an added bonus to the trip, the record won him a room in the penthouse section of the hotel. Johnson will return to Rochester on Monday.
