This morning the Minister of Education, Richard Bruton, was devastated as he announced that all of the Junior Certificate Papers were stolen in the early hours of this morning. 3rd year students and their parents all over the country are absolutely horrified to think that somebody would do this. Samantha Cunningham from Ballintober, Roscommon, spoke to us and said "My daughter was so stressed about her exams and everyday I would tell her it's okay only a few days left, and when her exams were over just a few days she cried tears of joy. Now the whole family is heartbroken because of what happened".
Richard Bruton announced that all of the current JC students will have to redo their Junior Cert exams. There is no specific date set for said exams but there is more info to follow in the upcoming weeks.
