Georgetown, KY. A male lion was reported missing from Barney and Bailey travelling circus early Tuesday morning. The lion is believed to be tamed, but can still be very dangerous. Wildlife expert Helen Waite reports that lions will be drawn to places with animals out and food in the open. Georgetown Police are urging people to stay inside, keep pets inside, and do not barbequestrian or cook out. The lion was last spotted near Toyota grounds. We will have the latest when more news arrives.
