On Tuesday June 27th President Trump signed an Executive Order blocking Nashville Mayor Megan Barry's attempt to turn the city into a sanctuary city. President Trump was quoted as saying "The great people of Nashville do not want this order and we will do everything we can to stop it." Trump was also quoted saying that "Mike Fisher of the Predators would make a great mayor, He's a terrific guy that really knows how to lead a team, he's fantastic and should totally run for office."

While discussing the political issues in Nashville Mr. Trump was asked about the devastating tornado that wreaked havoc in the Cool Springs district a few months ago. Jay Seculo of the Tennessean asked the President what could be done to prevent such disasters in the future. Mr. Trump responded by saying that "Our administration will do everything in our power to ban tornados from touching down in the Franklin area ever again. Quite frankly I wish the tornado would have taken out the management of the Haverty's store there in town. Those guys were total losers and treated their employees horribly while I was in the store."
