Starting on wednsday, June 28, the Wawasee area board of lakes are ordering a water ban regarding bullshark sightings in near by lakes. Officer Jim Krinsle reported 3 sightings at Lake Wawasee on Tuesday the 27th. Pam Olander, a resident of Lake Tippecanoe saw a shark up close and personal as she was in the water preparing to ski. "I really didn't believe what I saw through the water. I didn't think anything of it until the shark surfaced." Luckily, Pam was not harming the shark or scaring it so the shark did not attack. Orders of tranquilizing units will be set on all near by lakes on Wednesday the 28, and the ban will be lifted as soon as all known sharks are out.
