Despite the fact that the City of Alabaster, Alabama, has seen defeat in several projects this year including the building of a splash pad, a Long John Silver's Restaurant, a Krispy Kreme Donut Store, and the widening of Interstate 65 South of Pelham, several residents continue to harp about it on Facebook. It has become impossible to read more than one or two threads on the popular social networking website without reading about these undone items. We can only hope this trend slows and people choose to embrace their city for what it has, not what it does not.
