In what local police are calling a chilling and premeditated incident, a US tourist was discovered imprisoned in a home dungeon in a Perth inner western suburb. The as yet unnamed tourist, referred to by police as 'DW', was found dressed only in running shorts and t-shirt, his lack of footwear apparently intentional. The owner of the property (referred to only as 'PD') has claimed that DW was staying as a visitor, and had accidentally locked himself inside his 'basement'. Police have removed plastic sheets, 200 litres of mayonnaise, sixteen crotchless leather mini-hakama, twelve mankinis, and various recordings of what police described as "Ninja rituals of a perverted nature." After a long and concerted struggle, DW was forcibly removed from the basement and will face court tomorrow on numerous charges.
