There have been several sightings by locals of what appears to be a Great White Shark lurking in the waters of Lake Tippecanoe In. One man said he was in his pontoon boat when he felt a sudden hard jolt. " I turned around to see what it was and all I saw was a large grey dorsal fin going back into the water." It's easy to see why the people of this quiet Indiana lake town would be startled. "Many of us live here year-round and have children who play in the lake all the time." It is not known yet if it is in fact a Great White Shark but researchers from The National Aquatics and Marine Biology Center are said to be investigating the sightings.
