In the evening hours of June 28th, 2017 several swimmers got the shock of their lives: a bull shark in the waters of the Driftwood River in Indiana.

One swimmer, 36 year old Kelvin Olander, explains the terror: "I was just swimming in that water o'er there and saw fins. I freaked out and swam to shore, next thing I know the news is here".

According to Columbus Regional Hospital there have been no confirmed admittances with shark related injuries, but one patron in the emergency room complained of a headache.

Experts from the Florida Shark Society have arrived in southern Indiana to investigate the incident.

One subscriber who owns a Facebook page called "Columbus Man" recalled being eaten by the shark, dying, then being regurgitated and coming back to life. "I was sitting on the bank minding everyone else's businesss, plotting my next lie and drama filled story when out of nowhere 'WHAM!' He got me on the arm and drug me under. Luckily after I died I posted some horrendous lies about good people and the shark couldn't handle it so he spit me up right ther. My Facebook page saved my life!"

The shark was later caught and eaten by a local fisherman.
