On June 29th, a local fisherman nearly reeled in the largest, large mouth on record on the White River. As the image clearly shows, local resident Ryan Daniel has what researchers are calling the largest killer whale ever caught on film north of the Gulf of Mexico. Marine biologist, Keith Baker, noted in an interview with Daniel that his fishing line was broken before they could reel in what would have clearly been the big winner at the big bass tournament. Although, tournament officials noted that all killer whales are disqualified from competition according to local and national bass tournament officials of the BFAA (Bass Fisherman Association of America). The search is still underway for the sea beast, and local and state officials are asking that all people and animals stay out of the river until further notice.
