After much speculation and rabid hoping amongst the fans of this bizarre and esoteric show, one of it's creators has finally broken the silence. David Lynch confirmed to TMZ that Showtime has green lit a fourth season.

Unfortunately, due to declining health, Mark Frost will not return. He has passed the writing reins to Paul Reubens. Apparently Mr. Reuben's is a huge fan and has been trying to get on the writing staff ever since the reboot was announced.

Mr. Reubens said "After the odyssey that was Pee Wes's Big Adventure, I know better than Lynch himself what this journey is about. Also, as David Duchovny will be busy filming The X Files, I will be taking over the role of Denise".

Expect season 4 to air sometime in 2019.
