Mrs Judy Stapleton of Foraker, Indiana wrote her son out of her will this week and instead will leave her remaining wealth to her Shih Tzu, Winston. When asked why she would do such a thing she stated she had no animosity towards her son, but she felt her dog had brought her much more comfort over the past few years. Mr Jason Edwards, the son in question, was not available for comment but did email this reporter a statement saying he was fine with this and had expected it ever since his mother attempted to legally adopt the dog as a child and would introduce the Shih Tzu as his brother.
