A fisherman at meldahl dam on the Ohio river fishing near what is called the beach was attacked by a small shark. Witness say the shark was close to 5 feet long and that the man attacked was wading in the water and throwing a casting net when the shark bit him on the thigh where he sustained a small bite. Ky dept. Of fish was called in to try and find the shark but was unable to locate it. Fish and wildlife spoke person Glenn Jones said it is possible for a shark to make it this far from the ocean but more then likely it was a pet that got to big. He also states if seen call the local police.
