Tonight's METALLICA concert scheduled for Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida has been suddenly postponed. The band regrets to announce they wil be unable to perform without 2 members, who were seriously injured in separate fireworks accidents Tuesday evening.
Lead singer / guitarist JAMES HETFIELD sustained an unknown injury to his neck, while looking up in the sky at the colorful explosions. He was last seen wearing a cervical collar. While being treated by medics, he said 'Ooooh' and 'Aaaaahh'.
Drummer LARS ULRICH fell into Lake Eola and was bitten on his testicles by a largemouth bass. Witnesses said it was dark, and they heard a splash. Band spokespersons stated he can not sit for awhile, and therefore is unable to play drums. He is listed as day to day.
The concert will be rescheduled, and all tickets will be valid for the new date.
