The DWR recently established a experimental salt water species stocking into GSL with great success. In the recent year with the great amounts of snow pack and run off the GSL salinity has decreased enough to sustain more life on the east and south sides. With this experiment the DWR stocked 100000 Mullet and 2000 Jack Crevalle with future interests in small species of sharks and possibly Barracudas. Truly a sportsmans dream inland salt water fishing.
