The call came in to emergency personal around 2:00 pm on Friday July 14, county spokesman Richard Harrison tells NBC 12. "We received a call about the dam failing near Hopkins rd in North chesterfield county", Harrison says. It doesn't appear at this time anyone was on the water at but rescue workers are still talking with homeowners. "It's believed the Reservoir has lost up to 99 of its water, its essentially a small creek at this point" Harrison reports.
