After years of speculation scientists have finally cloned the extinct woolly mammoth. "Advances in CRISPR technology have made this easier to accomplish" said Victor Von Frankenstein, head of genetics research at the Frankfurt University, in Frankfurt Germany. They hope to open a zoo for interested people to visit to raise money to clone more extinct animals such as saber toothed tigers with the hopes of offsetting the alarming rate at much modern animals are becoming extinct.
