The associated press released a report Friday; On deputy Norman in his first year, he had stopped all major crime in the Denton County, Texas.
Amazing facts while still in training he halted 4 felonies, stopped several armed robberies in progress, and also sited those who ran from him for jay walking. We asked deputy Norman why jay walking citations? He replied " That he is also a public safety officer ". He is a by the book cop, once accredited with helping an elderly woman across the street while chasing a purse snatcher. We asked if he feared the criminal might have gotten away? He told me the man was getting tired and might lead him to his house, if he gave him a little more time. Sure enough he did, deputy Norman made another bust at that house on 2 Dozen Dr where he stopped a major string of donut shop robberies.
When asked what his plans are, he simply stated; "That he wanted to make Denton County Great again ".
