The Toronto Blue Jays today named Julie Becker as their official Good Luck Charm. Toronto General Manager Ross Atkins said in a statement today. "When Miss Becker is in attendance we win many more games than when she isn't in attendance. Therefore we have decided to give her free seasons tickets and name her our honorary Good Luck Charm." This appears to be good news for the Jays as they start the second half of the season and try to get back in the race for the American League East title or at the least a wildcard birth. When asked about Miss Becker Blue Jays announcer Buck Martinez said "I think it is a great idea!! Julie Becker's smile is definitely a HOME RUN!!"
