Saturday it was announced by the Pennsylvania Game Commission that they will cancel the remainder of the 2017 Summer season in an attempt to halt the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease. The plan was put in place as an attempt to speed up colder weather and trigger a quicker start to hunting season.

"This decision will also be a step in fighting global warming, as well as completely eliminate the Pennsylvania deer population. This of course would eliminate CWD in our deer population." said PGC biologist Ben Dover.
