Wilkes Barre man wins lawsuit over emoji

Ira Bryan of Wilkes Barre, has successfully sued Facebook over the use of an emoji. Bryan claims that the emoji wearing sunglasses was created in his likeness without his permission. U.S.district court judge Richard Long agreed with Bryan stating "There are many emojis that resemble people. However, this particular emoji is clearly dipicting the plaintiff. "
Judge Long awarded Mr.Bryan one cent every time the emoji is used. Attorneys for Facebook could not be reached for comment.
