Yvonne Hudson, who had previously been a no-name, landed a role alongside Bruce Willis as the new "Pretty Woman". It's said when the director saw her, he cast her at first glance. Yvonne has virtually no acting experience and her last play was "Pinochio" in elementary school. When Julia Roberts was asked what she thought when passed up for the role, it's reported that she replied "Well, she is a lot prettier than me, she deserves the role... end of story".
