The town of Ashton, MI is reeling after what is believed to be a Sasquatch or Big Foot sighting was reported. The sighting occurred on private property off of 200th Avenue in the early evening hours of Saturday, July 15, 2017. The large, hairy human-like creature was spotted near a creek and is believed to have been showering. "He was just standing there, all hairy-like, and he was scrubbing up under his armpits and stuff, like he was cleaning up or something," says Billy Pickins. Pickins lives near where the sighting occurred and says he and his sons were out snipe hunting when they saw the creature. "We had just come out of them there rows of pine trees when we saw him," says Pickins, "I've never seen anything like it before." DNR officials have surveyed the location, and feces found nearby have tested positive for Sasquatch DNA. Officials warn residents to stay away and call authorities immediately.
