Minnesota Vikings Picked To Win The NFC North!

NFL sports writers have picked the the Minnesota Vikings as the team to beat in the upcoming season. Sports writer spokesman Laird Peabody said that while the decision was not unanimous it was discussed "ad nauseum" ; and they think the Vikings have traded away or let go of enough of their good players to not be the laughingstock of the league again. Peabody said, " We feel that the stars have alined and clearly, once hell freezes over in August, and a giant meteor strikes Green Bay, Detroit, and Chicago, the Vikings will win the NFC North in 2017-2018." As to their chances to win the Super Bowl, Peabody stated, "we are not certain that their are enough meteors on a collision course with eatth at this point." League Officials confirmed that the other stadiums and teams have not been effected by a giant meteor strike at this point; however, the bedbug invasion of Chicago is continuing. Which raises the possibility that further catastrophes of biblical proportion, such as a winning season for the Vikings, are possible.
