Matthew A. of Toms River, NJ had been defeated again. Travelling for the elusive Striped Bass Matthew decided to "chase reports" nearly 5 hours from home up at the famous Cape Cod Canal. This being Matthees second trip up he has been defeated again. Skunked if you would in fishermans terms. Numerous Striped Bass over 20lbs were caught prior to Matthews arrival at the canal. It seems he has a black cloud hanging over him when it comes to surf fishing. Its unfortunate. A gofundme page will be set up to help Matthew with fishing lessons and couseling for his skunking ways.
