After senators Mike Lee and Jerry Moran come out against latest effort to replace Obamacare Republican Mitch McConnell calls for vote on clean repeal and replace with an ER to crematorium bill. “We need a fast and alternate solution to people who show up to the ER and can’t pay,” McConnell said. McConnell admits that it’s a nuclear option but it’s the only viable alternative to actually sitting down with Democrats and listening to their suggestions.
The Kentucky Republican went on to say that, “regretfully, since the Democrats have made it impossible for us to sit down and negotiate with them it is now apparent that the effort to repeal and immediately replace the failure of Obamacare will not be successful and we must immediately move quickly to these humanitarian measures.”
