PARRISH - Lowe's Home Improvement Center, Inc has announced that they have purchased 50 acres of land along AL-269 and will begin breaking ground on a new Home Improvement store in early 2018. Jonathan Jaxx, spokesman for Lowe's, stated that the company looks forward to working with Mayor Heather Hall & the entire Parrish Town Council. Jaxx also quoted that the company will be hiring 60 employees in the initial hiring phase and by 2020 they plan to employ close to 150 employees. Applications will be available at Town Hall and also on the company website beginning December 1, 2017. Lowe's is an E.O.E company.
