Cedar Fair Inc. has announced the closing of a 100 year lease on 287 acres along route 19 on the outskirts of Beckley in Mount Hope, West Virginia. Spokesman Larry Young, states the company is looking forward to establishing a fun family environment in southern West Virginia. "This park will boost the local economy over 42 percent."
The park is slightly smaller than Cedar Fair, Inc existing property, Kings Island located in Mason Ohio. Cedar Fair plans to break ground on the project September 2017 with a projected finishing date of April 2019.
