Looking mournfully at her litter, area dog is not sure where her life will take her. "We took her in," said animal shelter volunteer, "we soon realized someone had screwed the pooch. She whelped a week after she got here."
There were complications with the birth, including biological improbability and genome irregularities.
DHR and local animal control are in contact.
