David Rocco, of Livingston, NJ was found with over 1,000 gallons of Ragu sauce in his backyard toolshed after authorities were tipped off by the ShopRite inventory department. The elaborate scheme involved Mr. Rocco posing as a ShopRite employee and running cases of Ragu into his big truck. Authorities were able to trace the spaghetti stains on a tank tshirt left at the scene to Mr. Rocco's DNA. Prosecutors allege that Rocco intended to grill the stolen ragu in order to satisfy his true Italin appetite.
