On July 21 sources told reporters that Joshua Terrell posted a fake story about an Alligator Spotted in Greenbrier Lake. Sources say that this was a deceptive joke. Tourism dropped 32 due to this prank. Tennessee wildlife management said that the waters were safe after a $145,000.00 dollar search of the lake. The only thing found in this expensive search paid for with tax dollars was 2 fishing lures and several used condoms.
